Nachdem er viel über den Olavsweg in Norwegen erzählt hat, nimmt uns Michael Schildmann hier mit auf einen kleinen, scheinbar unbedeutenden Weg. Er pilgerte im Herbst 2022 von Hamburg nach Bremen (Dauer 1 Woche). Aber auch diese Strecke ist Teil des berühmten Jakobsweges, des Camino, genau genommen der Via Baltica, und führt somit letztendlich nach Santiago de Compostela. Und sie beginnt weit im Nordosten Europas in Tallinn, in der Hauptstadt Estlands.Bereits 2014 und 2015 war Schildmann mit seiner Frau gemeinsam unterwegs auf dieser Route.
Damals liefen sie von Swinemünde in Polen nach Rostock und im folgenden Jahr von Rostock nach Hamburg. Schon daraus ergab sich als nächster Schritt irgendwann die Strecke Hamburg bis Bremen zu laufen.
